We are now looking for an experienced Sales & Business Development Manager to drive growth across our Optical Sensors and Systems portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity to build strategic partnerships, influence market direction, and make a tangible impact in high-technology industries.
Key Responsibilities
Lead sales and business development activities for optical sensors and systems across Aerospace, Defense, and Commercial markets
Develop and execute strategic account plans to expand market share
Manage a full sales pipeline from initial engagement through to contract award
Collaborate with engineering and internal teams to deliver tailored customer solutions
Provide market intelligence and customer insights to support product strategy
Represent the business at key industry events and exhibitions
Deliver accurate sales forecasts and achieve ambitious revenue targets
About You
Proven experience (circa 10+ years) in technical sales, account management, or business development within Aerospace, Defense, or photonics markets
Strong understanding of optical components, particularly optical sensors and their applications
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently
Additional Information
Regular travel across the UK and internationally will be required.
