Are you currently working in Risk Management, Project Controls, PMO, Governance, or Programme Delivery and looking to build specialist expertise in Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA)?

One of our consultancy clients is offering a rare opportunity to join a growing risk team where you’ll receive structured training, mentoring, and hands-on experience in Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA), Quantitative Cost Risk Analysis (QCRA), and Monte Carlo modelling.

Unlike many organisations that require prior QRA experience, this opportunity is designed for individuals with strong risk management foundations and the ambition to develop highly sought-after quantitative skills.

The Opportunity

As a Risk Analyst, you’ll support the delivery of risk management services across major infrastructure and capital programmes, helping clients make better-informed decisions through effective risk management and analysis.

You’ll work alongside experienced programme risk specialists who will support your development while providing exposure to complex, high-profile projects across a range of sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the delivery of project and programme risk management activities
  • Maintaining and managing risk registers, assumptions, issues, and dependencies
  • Facilitating risk identification, assessment, and review workshops
  • Producing risk reports, dashboards, and management information
  • Supporting governance, assurance, and project controls processes
  • Monitoring risk exposure and supporting mitigation planning
  • Developing capability in quantitative risk analysis methodologies
  • Assisting with QSRA and QCRA activities under the guidance of experienced practitioners
  • Building strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders

About You

  • Risk Management
  • Project Risk
  • Programme Risk
  • Project Controls
  • PMO
  • Governance & Assurance
  • Project Planning or Programme Management Support

Experience within Infrastructure, Construction, Engineering, Defence, Rail, Utilities, Energy, or other major project environments would be beneficial but is not essential.

You’ll also bring:

  • Experience supporting risk management processes and maintaining risk registers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • An interest in forecasting, data analysis, and project performance
  • A desire to develop specialist expertise within programme and project risk

Previous experience with QSRA, QCRA, or Monte Carlo analysis is not required.

What matters most is a solid understanding of risk management principles, strong analytical thinking, and a genuine interest in developing specialist quantitative risk skills.

Why Join?

  • Structured training and mentoring in QSRA, QCRA, and Monte Carlo modelling
  • Learn directly from experienced programme risk professionals
  • Develop highly sought-after and marketable specialist skills
  • Work on complex and high-profile projects across multiple sectors
