Deputy Support Manager – Market Weighton
Location: Market Weighton
Annual Salary: £30,129.79 per annum
Hours per week: Full time (37.5 hours). Required to participate in on‑call rota.
Required background: Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs; driver licence preferred but not essential – ability to travel between two locations approximately 1.5 miles apart.
Responsibilities
- Support people to live independently, delivering person‑centred care with warmth and compassion.
- Develop personalised plans that respond to individual needs and preferences.
- Inspire and empower your team to provide confident, high‑quality support every day.
- Maintain CQC compliance and rota efficiency while promoting structure and independence.
- Drive positive outcomes using Positive Behaviour Support and Proact‑SCIP‑UK.
- Work flexibly, including out‑of‑hours on‑call, to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.
- Driver licence preferred, but not essential.
- Ability to travel between two locations approximately 1.5 miles apart.
- Pass an enhanced DBS check.
- Familiarity with Positive Behaviour Support and Proact‑SCIP‑UK.
