A specialist SEN setting in Croydon is looking for a PMLD Support Assistant to support pupils with complex additional needs. This is a specialist support role for someone comfortable with complex needs and personal care. It is a practical, hands‑on role where you will work with pupils who may need communication support, sensory support, personal care or structured routines.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with complex needs, ASD, PMLD or EHCP‑linked needs
• Helping pupils access learning and daily routines
• Working closely with SEN teachers, therapists and support staff
• Providing consistent, patient and reliable support

Qualifications

• SEN, care, support work, school or youth work experience
• Comfortable with practical support
• Patience, resilience and strong communication skills
• Ability to stay calm and consistent throughout the day

Salary

£95 – £120 per day
