Technical Claims Handler

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Claims Handler to join a growing team at a leading Law Firm based in Bristol, managing a varied caseload of professional indemnity claims on behalf of leading insurers.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Managing claims from notification through to resolution
• Assessing policy coverage, liability and quantum
• Negotiating settlements within delegated authority
• Working closely with insurers, brokers and panel solicitors
• Delivering exceptional client service while handling technically challenging matters

We’re keen to hear from individuals with

• Professional Indemnity or Financial Lines claims experience
• Strong technical claims knowledge
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working within an insurer, broker, MGA or legal environment
