Position: Mechanical Project Manager

Location: Surrey/Berkshire

Salary: £60,000 – £70,000

Job Overview

We are a leading HVAC company with regional offices across the UK. We are looking for a Mechanical Project Manager to join our expanding Projects division and manage projects from initial inception to handover.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conduct site visits, surveys, designs, estimations and quotations.
• Negotiate and purchase materials, supervise labour and commissioning.
• Deliver projects within budget and on time.
• Manage a team of at least 2 direct PAYE Installation Engineers and additional sub‑contractors.
• Provide client training and O&M support.

The role involves 50% working from home / office and 50% based on site.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years proven experience delivering large‑scale AHU, chiller, VRV, VRF, boiler and ventilation projects.
• Experience managing a team of engineers who report directly to you.
• Experience project managing AHUs, VRV/VRF, ducting, boiler and chiller replacements & upgrades.
• Computer literate, proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and MS Project.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Good attention to detail.
• Contract negotiation experience.
• Ideally live in the Surrey/Berkshire region.
