Shift Production Operators

We are seeking experienced Shift Production Operators to join our team at Workington Mill. The role is full‑time, shift‑based with a rotating 12‑hour day and night cycle over a 34‑day roster, providing 20 built‑in rest days and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and follow all company Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
• Operate machinery and equipment efficiently to maximise production performance and quality.
• Carry out production activities to ensure customer requirements are consistently met.
• Collaborate within a team‑focused production environment.
• Support continuous improvement and operational excellence across the mill.

Qualifications

• GCSE Grade 4 or above in English, Maths and Science/ICT, or an equivalent/higher qualification.
• Significant relevant production experience may be considered.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
• Interest in production processes and manufacturing operations.
• Problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to learning.
• Previous manufacturing or process industry experience is advantageous but not essential.
