Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Contracts Manager in Highview Group’s Roofing and Projects Division, located in Southend-On-Sea. The Contracts Manager will oversee the planning, management, and execution of contracted roofing and external projects. Responsibilities include coordinating teams, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, managing budgets and timelines, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout all phases of project execution.
Qualifications
- Project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Experience in managing contracts within the roofing and construction sectors
- Strong leadership, team coordination, and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of health, safety, and compliance standards relevant to construction and roofing
- Proficiency in tools such as project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for client and stakeholder interactions
- Ability to work within deadlines and ensure high-quality standards
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction management, engineering, or similar fields are preferred
- Familiarity with roofing systems, cladding, and externals work is a significant advantage
