Production Operative – Oswestry

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading FMCG company, in their search for a Production Operative to work at their industry leading facility in Oswestry.

For the successful Machine Operator, our client is offering:

• £35,000 per annum starting salary, rising to up to £40,000 after completing 12 weeks probation
• 3 on 3 off 5.50am to 5.50 pm and 5.50pm to 5.50am (3 days/3 nights)
• Opportunity for progression
• Permanent role

The role – Machine Operator:

• To operate production machinery safely to produce the product to the correct customer specification
• Ensure that all Quality Assurance checks are carried out
• Analyse and adhere to a production plan
• Picking and packing
• Working towards targets
• Using production IT systems
• Working to strict Food Hygiene standards

What our client is looking for in a Machine Operator:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment – ESSENTIAL
• Machine operating experience – ESSENTIAL
• Food manufacturing experience – DESIRABLE
• Demonstratable stability in work history
• Strong attention to detail
• Good computer skills
• Must be punctual and reliable and willing to work days and nights
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
