PMO Lead

PMO Lead – Public Sector | £500/day | ASAP Start | ~5 Months | Outside IR35

We’re looking for an experienced PMO Lead to join a major public sector transformation programme as it enters its final delivery phase.

Location: Mostly remote, with occasional travel to London (1–2 days a week at first, then once every few weeks).

You’ll be the go-to person for all things PMO — leading governance, risk, reporting and change control. You’ll shape executive-level reporting and assurance reviews, help keep delivery on track and make sure the programme delivers real value.

• Leading PMO governance, risk and change control
• Producing clear, executive-level reporting and dashboards
• Managing RAID, change control and lessons learned
• Driving PMO best practice and alignment to strategic goals
• Tracking and reporting on programme benefits

What you’ll bring

• A strong track record leading PMO in large public sector programmes
• Expertise in planning, risk, and performance reporting
• Great communication and stakeholder management skills
