GenTech Recruitment are currently working in partnership with our client to recruit an experienced Plasma Operator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business.

The Role

You will be responsible for programming and operating CNC plasma cutting machinery, producing high-quality components in line with engineering drawings and specifications.

Duties

• Program and operate CNC plasma cutting machines
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and work orders
• Set machine controls including speed, feed rate, and cutting parameters
• Plan work sequences to ensure efficient production
• Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality standards
• Work to production targets and deadlines
• Maintain a safe and organised working environment

Essential

• Minimum 12 years experience operating plasma machines
• Experience with CNC machinery (highly desirable)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
