We are recruiting on behalf of our client Cranswick Poultry, Benson Park – HU7 area, Hull. Our client is a leading UK food producer, producing and supplying premium food to high profile UK grocer retailers, the food service sector and other UK and global customers. They have an ambitious investment programme focused on market‑leading technologies and site infrastructure. This, combined with the skill of their teams, ensures that they are consistently and efficiently delivering for their customers. With all that in mind, our client is looking to expand the DAYS team and has numerous immediate opportunities for Hygiene Operative for full‑time work shift pattern 4ON4OFF. The client is searching for reliable, flexible, self‑motivated and hardworking candidates who could lead to a permanent opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Clean utensils and equipment
- Maintain cleaning supply stocks
- Ensure that all open product is removed from the immediate area or covered prior to the use of cleaning chemicals.
- Clean the equipment (ovens, lines, different meat machines)
Qualifications
- Follow required work instructions and procedures
- Conscientious, enthusiastic and willing to meet deadlines
- Work on own initiative and work well in a team
- Proactive with a desire and attitude to learn and develop
- Excellent attitude towards Health and Safety and will be expected to work at a high standard
- Experience with working in the industry is advantageous but not essential
- Comply with Food Safety and Quality procedures at all times
