Overview
SEN Teaching Assistant – Prospero Teaching are seeking experienced and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join a Good Ofsted-rated Special Educational Needs School located in the Ringwood area. The school provides specialist education and care for pupils aged 6–25 years with Complex Learning Difficulties & Associated Needs, including: Autism (ASD), Speech & Language Disorders, and Challenging Behaviour. You will be joining a committed and nurturing team who work together to ensure every pupil can excel within a supportive, pupil-centred environment.
Role Details

- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract: Temporary/Permanent
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Pay Rate: From £104.00 per day
Experience, Training & Qualifications
- Previous TA experience is preferred, ideally within SEN, but not essential if you have the right attitude and passion.
- A genuine interest in supporting children with ASD, Aspergers and Complex Needs.
- Proactive, positive, energetic, and confident engaging in classroom activities.
- Willingness to undertake personal care responsibilities when required
Eligibility Requirements
- Right to Work in the UK.
- Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Two professional, child-related references
