Junior Field Service Engineer (Electronics)
Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 plus training, company benefits, overtime, progression and field based.
Location: Taunton, Somerset.
We are a rapidly growing company offering specialist brand and in‑house training with a proven pathway to becoming a qualified engineer.
In this field‑based role you will work alongside experienced engineers across a Somerset patch, assisting with the installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of a range of security systems. As your skills develop through ongoing in‑house and manufacturer‑led training, you will take on increasing responsibility and progress into a fully qualified Security Automation Engineer.
The Role
- Install, commission, maintain and repair security systems.
- Receive specialist security system training.
- Cover a Somerset patch.
- 50/50 split between planned and reactive maintenance.
- Work on call rota.
The Person
- Junior Field Service Engineer or similar.
- Background in electronics.
- Clean drivers’ licence and ability to commute to Taunton.
