Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting 7.5t Home delivery drivers for a well known client of ours, based in Exeter.

Key Responsibilities
This role involves working with a Drivers Mate to deliver large goods to residential properties, such as sofas, beds, flat pack furniture, gym equipment, white goods, etc. Because of the weight of the products and the number of drops, you must be physically fit. The company offers the customer a “room of choice” delivery and you will be fully trained on how to do this. Upon successful application, all new drivers are subject to a driving assessment and a multiple‑choice highway‑code/tacho exam, followed the next day with a subsequent induction day. The company operates seven days a week; you will be offered a five or six day rota, and weekend work will be involved. Shift timings are 06.00 start; shifts last roughly nine to eleven hours.
Requirements
You must have:
- A valid UK licence, CPC and Digitacho, no more than six points on your driving licence and no DD, DR or NI convictions.
- Physical fitness to lift heavy goods.
- Good communication skills and a strong level of customer service.
- A reliable and organized attitude.
- Own steel‑toe safety boots and a high‑vis vest.

Additional Information
After thirteen weeks, you can be offered a contract directly with the company. Once you become a full‑time member of staff, you will be entitled to an award‑winning range of benefits. Our client will happily accept newly qualified drivers. Please note that drug tests can be carried out at any time, at the client’s discretion; a drug test will also be carried out at assessment.
