Commercial Relations Manager – EU & UK

Salary

Company Description

Scarlet is a Creandum-backed London healthtech firm acting as Europe’s only Notified Body specializing in AI and software-based medical device certification. They are building a trusted, accredited pathway for transformative medical AI to reach patients safely and legally across the EU and UK markets.

Job Description

You will lead Scarlet’s industry‑engagement function, building deep connections with regulatory consultants, legal advisors, and eQMS providers across Europe. Rather than traditional sales, you will foster a world‑class referral network by earning trust with senior stakeholders, ensuring they advocate for Scarlet’s mission to accelerate the transition to universally accessible healthcare.

Location

London, UK

Why this role is remarkable

  • Shape a category‑defining function as the second person in the commercial relations team, building a high‑impact referral ecosystem from first principles.
  • Join a venture‑backed team funded by Creandum that serves as the pre‑eminent authority on AI medical devices for the world’s most ambitious tech companies.
  • Directly influence the pace of healthcare innovation by ensuring the most advanced medical AI systems can navigate complex regulatory landscapes safely and quickly.

What You Will Do

  • Build and own long‑term relationships with key industry third parties, including regulatory consultants and lawyers, so they proactively advocate for Scarlet.
  • Represent Scarlet at major industry events across Europe to increase brand awareness and adoption among healthcare innovators and policy makers.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Commercial teams to iterate on engagement processes and effectively communicate Scarlet’s unique value proposition.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience developing productive professional networks and building rapport with senior leaders or industry figures in complex, regulated environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills and high EQ, with the ability to navigate human relationships and translate complex regulatory concepts into trusted partnerships.
  • Highly curious and adaptable, willing to travel up to 20% of the time to engage with stakeholders throughout the UK and European digital health ecosystems.
