Tesco Colleague Nights – Oakham Superstore

Pay rate starts from £13.28 per hour, increasing to £14.55 for stores within the M25. For all hours worked between midnight and 6am you will receive an additional night premium of £2.35 per hour.

Our policy offers new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, with an option to work as few as 12 hours per week.

The expected availability window is Sunday, Monday and Saturday from 22:00 to 07:00. The working schedule is planned within these times, with a three‑week notice for shift dates.

Responsibilities

• Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride; giving great natural service.
• Being passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
• Working across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
• Putting into practice the training received, ensuring safe, effective work and brilliant customer service.
• Making decisions that are right for customers, delivering routines in store that meet their needs at the right time.
• Taking part in seasonal, community and charity events, creating an inclusive atmosphere.
• Being knowledgeable about your store’s performance, understanding the role and contribution to driving service and sales, reducing waste and shrink, and delivering profit.
• Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
• Living the values, making everyone feel welcome, and following policies.
• Accepting deliveries into the store when required.
