Responsibilities

• Assist with site investigations, logging and sampling soils and rock, and preparing technical documentation.
• Undertake desk‑based assessments.
• Attend site visits.
• Support foundation and retaining structure design work.
• Liaise with engineers and environmental professionals to ensure successful project delivery across Chelmsford and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geology, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience within ground investigation, geotechnical, or consultancy environments.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to commute to or reside near Chelmsford.
