Salary Grade F Points 14 to 19 (£29,540 to £32,061 Full Time Equivalent) subject to pro rata. The minimum actual pro rata salary per annum for this job starts at £26,175.38.

The Vale Academy are looking to appoint a Data and Exams Officer to join our academy in September 2026 on a permanent, full time basis.

Responsibilities

As a Data & Exams Officer, you will coordinate all aspects of information and data management, including preparation of timetables and maintenance of student and staff records in order to ensure the availability of accurate and meaningful data. You will ensure the smooth and efficient management of all examinations held within the academy. You will liaise with Heads of Departments and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to ensure all students are entered for relevant exams.

The Vale is a successful and high achieving 11 to 18 academy which has an excellent reputation and an established trend of high student outcomes, which are consistently above those achieved nationally. Indeed, 2025 outcomes placed the academy first in the local authority with attainment at 4+ and 5+ in both English and Maths at 77% and 65% respectively and an attainment score of 51.6. The academy is situated in Brigg, North Lincolnshire and serves a largely rural community. Brigg itself is a historic market town on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Many of our students travel a considerable distance to school. We provide state of the art facilities and an outstanding learning environment for both students and staff. The Vale also offers an extensive and varied programme of extra-curricular activities to support a rich and rounded education, both within and beyond the classroom.
