Your new role

As our new Senior/Principal Electrical Engineer – High Voltage (Critical Systems), you will provide electrical design expertise for the UK-wide Critical Systems team, guide graduates and technicians, and demonstrate in-depth understanding of design engineering.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage your own project work
  • Complete detailed designs to the required standards and supervise the work of others in this function
  • Manage time on projects to meet deadlines and complete assigned tasks as stipulated by the Ramboll project manager
  • Maintain excellent levels of client service

Skills and experience required

  • Qualified engineer with a proven track record in electrical design
  • CIBSE/IET Engineering Council accredited honours degree, or an HNC in an applicable discipline with commitment to higher education
  • Understanding of financial arrangements for projects including fee forecasting, fee preparation, and allocation
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Forward‑thinking and passionate about digital design innovation and smart design in a digitalised construction arena
  • Experience across different sectors such as Building Services Design, site surveys & inspections, snagging, client & design team meetings (preferred)
