Job Role of the Senior Engineer

An Excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced and qualified Senior Engineer to work for a FMCG Manufacturing company. The Senior Engineer will be involved in managing a team of 3 engineers on shift whilst also being involved in the hands‑on maintenance and running of machinery. The Senior Engineer will be working in an automated factory with lots of opportunities to learn and develop skills. The Senior Engineer needs to be focused on training and development of engineers and the company is looking for a people orientated person.

Non‑Negotiable Requirements of the Senior Engineer

• Engineering Qualification
• Experience in a Leadership or Supervisory role
• Hands on experience with pre‑planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in fast paced industrial factory.

Requirements for the Senior Engineer

• Experience in managing a team of engineers
• Recognised engineering qualification.
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Good with Training and development

Desirable Requirements for the Senior Engineer

• Experience working as Maintenance Team Leader in the UK.
