What you will do

  • Assessment & Case Management: Undertake comprehensive assessments of children and families in line with statutory requirements.
  • Care Planning: Manage a caseload of Children in Need, developing and reviewing tailored intervention plans.
  • Risk Management: Complete risk assessments and implement strategies to safeguard children and reduce vulnerability.
  • Safeguarding: Identify safeguarding concerns and take appropriate action, escalating when necessary.
  • Multi-Agency Working: Attend and contribute to strategy meetings, case conferences, and reviews.
  • Family Engagement: Build strong relationships with children and families, ensuring their voices are central to decision-making.
  • Partnership Working: Collaborate with education, health, and other professionals to deliver coordinated support.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate, high-quality records and reports in line with professional standards.
  • Professional Practice: Adhere to legislation, policies, and best practice standards in children’s social care.
