We are partnering with a leading global investment management business to appoint a Senior HR Business Partner, Associate Director. This is a highly visible role operating at leadership level, providing strategic HR partnership while acting as a subject matter expert across complex employee relations and organisational change.
Working closely with business leaders, HR Centres of Excellence, and regional HR teams, you will help shape and deliver people strategies that support organisational effectiveness, leadership capability, workforce planning, and business transformation. You will be handling a lot of sensitive and confidential information and requires someone with a strong blend of business partnering and Employee Relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on organisational, talent, leadership, and workforce matters
- Lead and manage complex employee relations cases, including matters involving legal, regulatory, and reputational risk
- Support organisational design, restructuring, and change initiatives, including consultation processes and workforce transformation
- Partner with Reward, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Development teams to drive performance, succession planning, and future capability requirements
- Use workforce insights and people data to influence decision-making and shape strategic people initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement across HR policies, processes, and employee relations practices
- Coach and develop leaders to enhance people management capability and improve employee outcomes
- Contribute to HR transformation, process improvement, and operational excellence projects
We are looking for:
- An experienced HR Business Partner with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Proven experience managing complex employee relations matters and organisational change programmes
- Comfortable operating within a global, matrixed environment and partnering with senior executives
- Commercially minded with the ability to balance business objectives with risk management and employment law considerations
- Strong organisational design, talent, and workforce planning experience
- Data-driven with the ability to translate business strategy into practical people solutions
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and naturally curious, with a continuous improvement mindset
- Ideally experience within financial services, asset management, banking, or another regulated environment, however it will be more about the EQ as well as technical skills for this hire.
- Exposure to international HR and multi-jurisdiction employee relations matters
- Strong understanding of employment law and workforce risk management
- Track record of supporting transformation, restructuring, and organisational effectiveness initiatives
