Retail Stock Counter/Car Share Driver – Glasgow £14.29* p/hr

Retail & Asset Solutions are currently seeking motivated, professional and flexible individuals to complete stock counts for well-known retailers, on a casual contract-basis across the UK.

Retail Stock Counter/Car Share Driver + Company Car provided.

Salary: £14.29 inclusive of holiday pay (£12.75 per hour + £1.54 holiday pay) + £15 shift bonus when taking 1 passenger.

Location: Glasgow.

Must be available to work throughout June and July for this vacancy.

Company car provided for business use.

The Role

• Retail stock counter driver to add to our successful team as part of a car share team.
• Employment will be carried out on different retail customer sites and stores; travel will vary on a shift-by-shift basis. Certain locations will have minibus transport provided free of charge.
• Responsible for ensuring stock is counted quickly and accurately using a handheld scanner.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time is needed; access equipment may have to be used on occasion to reach high stock.

Key Skills / Experience Required

• Must be able to work unsociable hours, including early mornings and nights when required. Applicants must be 25 years and over.
• Must have a full Driving License or be able to make own way to and from sites using public transport.
• Must have a ‘can do’ attitude and be able to work long shifts where required on large counts.
• Quick learner, adaptable to evolving technology.
• Any experience handling stock is an advantage but not a necessity.
