In-House Scheme Operations & Project Manager 12 month contract (& longer)

We are currently supporting a long‑established organisation and their small in‑house pension team in the search for a Pensions Operations Manager and Project Manager. This role combines operational responsibilities with project involvement, and requires a pensions professional who enjoys a varied role. You will oversee the delivery of pensions administration services in partnership with external providers, manage processes, drive continuous business improvements, and support the delivery of pension communications across the business.

  • Operational responsibilities: identify and resolve operational pension issues, manage day‑to‑day specialist pensions tasks, and engage with stakeholders at all levels, from BAU activities to senior advisory.
  • Project responsibilities (12–24 months): act as the subject‑matter expert, deliver key project work, monitor all deliverables and ensure targets and deadlines are met.
  • Communication: strong communication skills required to engage with stakeholders at all levels, providing commercially focused support.
