Stephen James Consulting is partnering with an established care home provider to recruit an experienced Clinical Home Manager for a large, mixed-service nursing home in Nottingham.

The provider is seeking a commercially minded leader with a proven track record of managing nursing homes, driving occupancy, and delivering excellent clinical and operational outcomes. The successful candidate will be a resilient and influential leader, capable of building strong relationships, engaging teams, and creating a positive culture focused on achieving shared goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership and direction across all areas of the service
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care and clinical excellence
- Drive occupancy, reputation, and overall commercial performance of the home
- Maintain compliance with CQC regulations, clinical governance standards, and company policies
- Lead, support, and develop the management and care teams
- Monitor quality, performance, and outcomes, driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to achieve operational objectives
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, professionals, and stakeholders
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC PIN
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Home Manager within a nursing home setting
- Strong clinical leadership experience within elderly care services
- Proven ability to improve occupancy and drive commercial performance
- Excellent understanding of CQC regulations and clinical governance
- Resilient and confident leadership style with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
- Strong communication, organisational, and people management skills
- Passion for delivering outstanding care and achieving positive outcomes for residents
This role offers a salary of £65,000 – £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
