Salary and Contract

Grade UE07: £41,064.00 – £48,822.00 per annum pro‑rata. (£22.50 – £26.75 per hour, plus annual leave allowance)

Guaranteed Hours (GH) contract: 454 hours in total.

Fixed‑term: 12 months, post available from 1st September 2026.

Role

Teaching Fellow in Old Testament and Hebrew Bible, within the School of Divinity’s Biblical Studies subject area.

Responsibilities include teaching Biblical Hebrew at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Working arrangement

Guaranteed Hours role with 454 hours guaranteed for the duration of the contract. Reduced hours or job‑share arrangements may be considered. Hybrid working may be arranged on a non‑contractual basis, combining remote and regular on‑campus teaching.
