Position
We are seeking a highly organised individual to join our busy Health Records team as a Clerical Officer. One part‑time (25 hours) position will provide admin/clerical/call‑handling support for the Out‑Patient department at Queen Margaret Hospital, Monday to Friday, 12:00–17:00.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative, clerical, and call‑handling support for the Out‑Patient department.
- Prioritise and manage day‑to‑day workload in a busy, physically and mentally challenging environment.
- Use scanning, validating, and auditing processes (knowledge advantageous).
- Operate filing and appointment systems effectively.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Educated to Standard Grade (or equivalent) with passes in English and Arithmetic.
- Relevant admin/clerical, contact centre, and reception experience.
- Good keyboard and typing skills, ability to work on own initiative.
- Strong organisational and listening skills, flexible approach to working.
- Level of English language competency and communication skills necessary to perform this role safely and effectively.

Additional Requirements
