Accountancy Practice Senior Manager – Exeter – Up to £60,000

Trial Balance is working with a well‑respected and forward‑thinking accountancy practice to source a new Senior Manager, focused on Business Services. Joining their Exeter based team, the successful candidate will play a vital part in the day‑to‑day success of the firm.

Key responsibilities

• Take the leading role in managing and mentoring a dynamic and hard‑working team on a day‑to‑day basis.
• Take on broader business responsibilities to include workflow planning, budgeting and forecasting, networking and business development, and seeking opportunities to offer additional services to your clients.
• Manage and deliver a varied and interesting caseload of commercial assignments.

Required skills and experience

• Experience as an Accountancy Practice Manager or Senior Manager.
• Strong technical competence in statutory accounting and tax compliance.
• ACA or ACCA qualifications.
• Confidence and personality to lead and mentor a team.
• Business advisory ability to broaden horizons for client base.
