Academics is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm and inclusive primary school in Waltham Forest, London. This full‑time, long‑term opportunity involves 1:1 support with a child in Year 1, starting ASAP or May 2026. While experience is preferred, graduates passionate about working with children or pursuing a career in education are also welcome.

• Pay Rate: £92‑£115 per day (depending on experience)
• Contract: Full‑time, long‑term
• Year Group: Year 1 (1:1 support)
• Teacher training available from September 2026

• Support the learning, development and well‑being of a child in Year 1 with additional needs
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies
• Create an encouraging and inclusive environment
• Help promote independence, confidence and positive learning habits
• Contribute to the wider school community in Waltham Forest, London
