Maintenance Assistant

Are you a skilled maintenance assistant? Would you enjoy maintaining our iconic historical building?

We are recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant to join our team at De Vere Latimer Estate in Chesham.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the maintenance team to ensure the property is kept to a high standard.
• Perform reactive and planned preventative work.
• Carry out compliance work, including property audits and recording important data such as meter readings.
• Work full‑time: 8:30‑5:30 pm and 11:00 am‑8:30 pm with weekends on a rota basis.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience of basic maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrics and decorating.
• Ability to prioritise work efficiently and keep people informed on planned completion timelines.
• Enthusiasm and enjoyment of working as part of a team.
