Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant

Location: Greenwich (Fully accessible by Local Public Transport or Car)

Year Group: KS2

Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only

Pay: £95 – £110 per day (PAYE)

Start Date: September 2026

About the Role

Tradewind Recruitment are working with an outstanding Primary School in Greenwich who are seeking an experienced Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to cover within a class as a General Teaching Assistant. These are great opportunities for experienced or aspiring Teaching Assistants who wish to make a difference in the development and learning of pupils.

Skills & Qualities

• Experience supporting children within Key Stage 1 (SATs experience would come as an advantage)
• Knowledge of differentiation and adaptive support
• Good understanding of core subjects
• Patience and strong communication skills
• Committed

Desirable

• Sound knowledge of maths and English as a subject

Requirements

• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
• Two professional references from the last two years
• Up-to-date CV with full employment history
• Relevant work experience with children
