Early Years Assistant
Leigh Academy Hundred of Hoo Nursery is looking for a motivated and experienced educator who is truly committed to enhancing our provision and providing our children with excellent opportunities to learn and develop.
You will play a dynamic role working across all of our rooms, adapting your support to meet the needs of our children wherever needed. This high‑energy age group requires a strong ability to foster curiosity and support rapid developmental milestones.
Responsibilities
- Support all nursery rooms and adapt teaching to meet individual children’s needs.
- Help children to explore, learn, and grow in a safe, stimulating, welcoming environment.
- Collaborate with a highly experienced nursery team to provide a consistent, nurturing approach.
- Maintain strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Support the key person system and build secure emotional attachments for children.
Qualifications
- Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years (EYFS) to comply with staff‑to‑child ratios.
- Experience working with young children and a sound knowledge of supporting and extending learning at every stage.
- A reliable and caring attitude with a genuine enthusiasm for making a difference in young children’s lives.
