Job Description:

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Procurement Business Partner to lead a high-performing procurement partnering function within a large, complex public sector environment. This is a strategic and highly visible leadership role, acting as the senior interface between procurement and key stakeholder organisations, driving best‑class procurement solutions, collaboration, and measurable value across multiple sites.

You will lead and develop a team of Procurement Business Partners, ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery while building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders. The role involves overseeing complex, high-value procurement activity, identifying and delivering savings and efficiencies, and promoting the use of compliant routes to market. With a strong on‑site presence, you will influence decision‑making, support procurement strategies, and champion innovation, sustainability, and social value across the supply chain.

The ideal candidate will bring significant public sector procurement experience, including end‑to‑end procurement lifecycle management, above‑threshold tendering, and contract management. You will have a strong track record of delivering cost savings, managing senior stakeholder relationships, and leading teams in a fast‑paced environment. A professional procurement qualification (such as CIPS) or equivalent experience is essential, alongside excellent analytical, communication, and influencing skills.
