Liverpool Diocesan Schools Trust and the governors of St James CE Primary School wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 2 or Level 3 depending on the successful applicant’s skills and experience.

Teaching Assistant Level 2 or Level 3 (working in SEND provision)
St James CE Primary School, Tyrer Avenue WN3 5XE.
Contract Type: Fixed term
Working Pattern: 30 hours per week – Term time only
Pay range: Level 2 SCP 5 £25,584.00 (FTE) or Level 3 SCP 8 £26,824. Actual Salary: Level 2 £19,128.52 or Level 3 £20,698 (Pro Rata Salary)

Responsibilities & Qualifications
The successful candidates will be: able to demonstrate experience of small group work and articulate the benefits provided by these interventions; experience of managing children’s behaviour and demonstrating positive behaviours; experience working with additional and complex needs children; a flexible ‘can do’ attitude; and a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school.
