Sixth form PASTORAL SUPPORT OFFICER

Reports To

SLT link/Head of Sixth Form

Responsible For

To work as a member of the Pastoral Team within the Sixth Form, to support the Head of Year (HoY) and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) within the Academy

Salary

Scale 5/22-25 – £32,915-£35,160 per annum (pro rata – 40 weeks) : Actual Salary – £31,070-£33,189 per annum : Permanent/Term-time only/40 weeks – 40 hours per week – 8.00am-5.00pm

Overall Aims of the Role

  • To contribute positively towards developing the Academy’s Sixth Form ethos, philosophy and ideology.
  • To work with students and families to maintain and enforce the highest standards and expectations for all students.
  • To ensure students take ownership of their learning, prioritise effectively and actively demonstrate independence.
  • To consistently hold students to account and intervene as required to ensure that all students achieve their future ambitions.
