Mechanical Design Engineer

Talented Mechanical Design Engineer (35-45K) required to join large Vehicle Design team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will design new Products & existing range. Generous holidays and extensive benefits package.

The Role:

• Carry out 3D modelling to create bespoke solutions within a large mechanical design environment.
• Follow Customer Specifications, reading mechanical drawings and creating BOM’s.
• Resolve design Problems whilst Troubleshooting root cause.
• Ensure Products meet Quality, Reliability and Function standards.
• Carry out Market Research, utilize current technologies and build prototypes on factory floor.

The Person:

• You’ll be in a similar role within a busy manufacturing environment.
• Possess a Mechanical Engineering/ Manufacturing degree.
• Possess strong 3D modelling skills and have a good understanding of Engineering processes.
• You will enjoy working in a large design team and building/ testing prototypes.
• You’ll be keen to advance your own personal career development.
