Cellar operator

The following position is for a Cellar Operator at Brighton & Hove Albion FC during the 2026/27 Football Season. The role covers matchdays and non-matchdays.

Job Introduction

We’re hiring Cellar operators to join the team at Brighton & Hove FC. The successful candidate will support high-quality beverage operations across matchdays, match nights and special events.

Main Responsibilities

• Maintain all cellar areas to the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management
• Change kegs, casks, and gas cylinders safely and efficiently
• Ensure beer lines are maintained and products are served to quality standards
• Support with stock rotation and minimize product wastage
• Carry out regular cellar cleaning and maintenance tasks
• Support bar teams by ensuring products are available throughout service

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience working within a cellar environment is essential
• Good knowledge of draught beer systems and cellar operations
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Physically capable of manual handling duties, including moving kegs and stock
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and matchdays
• Understanding of health & safety requirements within hospitality operations
• Commitment to delivering excellent operational standards
