VMware Presales Solutions Architect

Salary: £100,000 – 100,000 per year

Requirements

• We need previous experience in VMware presales solutions architecture within a UK cloud and IT infrastructure-focused solution provider or MSP.
• We need strong subject matter expertise in VMware and datacentre or hybrid infrastructure.
• We need a broad understanding of datacentre technologies, including major server, storage, and virtualisation solutions.
• We need depth of expertise in VMware technologies, including VMware Cloud Foundation 9, VCF 9, vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, NSX, VCF Operations, VCF Automation, HCX, ARIA, and SDDC.
• We value relevant certifications such as Broadcom/VMware VCP, VCAP, VCIX, VCDX, or Broadcom Partner certifications, though these are not essential.
• We are looking for someone ready to work in a senior presales solutions architecture role with potential to grow into a Principal or Practice Lead position.
• We need someone who is comfortable operating in the UK channel and supporting a top-level partner environment.

Responsibilities

• We work with customers to provide presales and solutions architecture services for VMware and hybrid infrastructure solutions.
• We design and advise on VMware-based datacentre and hybrid infrastructure architectures.
• We support customer engagements by translating technical requirements into practical VMware solutions.
• We act as a VMware subject matter expert across the full presales lifecycle.
• We contribute to building and growing our VMware practice as part of our wider cloud and IT infrastructure services business.
• We collaborate with customers and internal teams to shape technical proposals and solution designs.
• We help drive the development of our presales solutions architecture and technical consultancy capabilities.
• We support continued practice growth with the potential to step into a Principal or Practice Lead role.
