Java Engineer‑Consultant role in Belfast, Hybrid – £550 per day (Inside IR35). We are hiring 2 contractors to support a high‑performing engineering team developing large‑scale cloud and data‑driven solutions.

Location & Working Arrangement

Belfast, United Kingdom – Hybrid: 2 days per week onsite.

Contract Details

Initial 6‑month contract. Daily rate £550, Inside IR35.

Responsibilities

• Contribute immediately to a fast‑paced engineering environment.
• Collaborate closely with senior engineers.
• Build modern cloud‑based applications focused on real‑time data and streaming technologies.
• Develop real‑time streaming applications, batch processing systems, and cloud‑based data engineering solutions within a GCP environment.

Qualifications

• Experienced Java consultant or developer.
• Enjoys architecture discussions and solving complex engineering problems.
• Familiar with real‑time data streaming and batch processing pipelines.
• Experience with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Technical Skills

• Java
