Birmingham Community Matters, Delivery and Engagement Officer

Thanks to funding from The National Lottery community fund we are hiring a Delivery and Engagement Officer to help us to boost the impact of small voluntary and community organisations across Birmingham.

Work hours: 29.6 hours a week | FTE: 0.8 | Annual salary: £24,915 (FTE equivalent £31,143)

This community‑facing role supports small voluntary and community organisations across Birmingham. You will act as a friendly link between BCM and local groups, helping people connect, access support, and build stronger networks.

  • Support community events and networking
  • Build relationships with local groups
  • Provide guidance and signposting
  • Connect people to opportunities and resources
  • Promote BCM’s work
  • Gather feedback and stories
  • Represent BCM at meetings and events
