Salary: £37,000 – £45,000 + benefits

The Role

A well-established, multidisciplinary environmental and engineering consultancy are looking to appoint a Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer to join their growing Leeds team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to take a leading role on a diverse portfolio of contaminated land and ground investigation projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing site investigations including Phase 1 desk studies and Phase 2 ground investigations
  • Interpretation of soil, gas and groundwater data
  • Production of interpretative reports including risk assessments and remediation strategies
  • Client and stakeholder liaison, providing technical advice and project updates
  • Overseeing subcontractors and site works, ensuring quality and H&S compliance
  • Supporting and mentoring junior engineers and graduates
  • Contributing to business development and bid preparation where required

About You

  • Degree qualified in geology, environmental science, civil engineering or a related discipline
  • Strong experience within geoenvironmental consultancy (typically 5+ years)
  • Solid understanding of contaminated land assessment and UK guidance (e.g. CLR11, BS5930, BS10175)
  • Confident report writing and data interpretation skills xwzovoh
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Full UK driving licence
