Salary: £37,000 – £45,000 + benefits
The Role
A well-established, multidisciplinary environmental and engineering consultancy are looking to appoint a Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer to join their growing Leeds team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to take a leading role on a diverse portfolio of contaminated land and ground investigation projects across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing site investigations including Phase 1 desk studies and Phase 2 ground investigations
- Interpretation of soil, gas and groundwater data
- Production of interpretative reports including risk assessments and remediation strategies
- Client and stakeholder liaison, providing technical advice and project updates
- Overseeing subcontractors and site works, ensuring quality and H&S compliance
- Supporting and mentoring junior engineers and graduates
- Contributing to business development and bid preparation where required
About You
- Degree qualified in geology, environmental science, civil engineering or a related discipline
- Strong experience within geoenvironmental consultancy (typically 5+ years)
- Solid understanding of contaminated land assessment and UK guidance (e.g. CLR11, BS5930, BS10175)
- Confident report writing and data interpretation skills xwzovoh
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Full UK driving licence
