Proximity Recruitment are searching for a talented Social Media Manager (up to £42,000 + Benefits) to join a global organisation in Peterborough. The role is an initial 12-month FTC and hybrid working – 2 days a week in the offices, 3 days from home.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead and execute a global social media strategy to drive brand awareness and engagement.
- Manage day-to-day social activity across platforms (content creation, scheduling, publishing via Sprout Social).
- Collaborate with regional teams and support internal training on social tools and best practice.
- Drive audience growth, engagement, and social listening initiatives.
- Monitor and engage with online communities across channels.
- Plan and optimise content calendars based on performance insights.
- Partner with Marketing and Comms teams to deliver social elements of campaigns.
- Support paid social activity by working with external agencies (briefing, monitoring, reporting).
- Produce monthly performance reports with actionable insights.
- Manage and grow social communities.
- Create on-brand social content (copy + visuals) and coordinate with designers when needed.
- Stay up to date with social trends and share insights across the team.
The successful Social Media Manager will be leading on global social media projects & this position covers both tactical execution & strategic work whilst liaising with an array of stakeholders in a friendly & supportive digital, marketing & communications team.
