About the role
We are seeking a senior leader to develop and oversee the school’s data, digital and information systems strategy. The Director will work closely with the Headmaster and leadership team to ensure that all information systems — including MIS, IT infrastructure and emerging AI technologies — support the school’s core mission: academic excellence, pastoral care and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic development of the school’s digital and information systems, including AI integration.
- Oversee the Management Information System (MIS), ensuring data integrity, accuracy and impact.
- Line‑manage key teams including IT, reprographics and registry.
- Support senior leaders and teachers through high‑quality data analysis and reporting.
- Ensure robust cybersecurity, GDPR compliance and safeguarding of pupil data.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will bring significant leadership experience in information services or IT within a school setting, paired with a deep understanding of school operations across assessment, reporting, safeguarding and admissions. A proven track record of driving strategic change, leading digital innovation and strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teaching and support staff are essential. Experience working in a school setting is required.
