We are looking for a Logistics Supervisor for our Mains Renewal project.
Key Accountabilities
- Co‑ordinate and ensure timely delivery of construction assets and materials onsite.
- Supervise all on‑site activities and act as deputy for the Network Logistics Manager.
- Ensure logistics plant, equipment and supplies are available, maintained, safe and operationally ready.
- Maintain stock levels in coordination with Network Logistics Technicians and suppliers.
- Oversee maintenance, services and PUWER checks for plant & equipment.
- Process supplier payments accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with construction teams to meet deadlines with minimal disruption.
- Ensure safety of site, operatives, customers, public, environment and comply with budget controls.
Qualifications and Experience
- HGV licence and experience supervising others.
- Experience working with construction kit, equipment & plant.
- Knowledge of PUWER Standards and ability to conduct checks.
- Experience with quarry and tipping activities and supplier relationship management.
- Excellent planning, organisational and time‑management skills.
- Willingness to travel and hold a full UK driving licence.
- Positive, caring attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
