Salary £60,000 – £75,000 + Car/Car Allowance + Commission

We’re looking for a driven and relationship-focused Business Development Manager to join a growing team within a well-established global logistics business. This company has had a European presence for over 50 years and is currently in their next phase of expansion.

Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Driving high-value new business opportunities in line with strategic growth targets
- Building, developing and maintaining senior-level relationships with key decision-makers
- Staying up to date with market trends, competitor activity and industry changes
- Identifying, assessing and reporting opportunities for expansion through new customers, new routes and new service offerings
What you’ll need:
- Proven experience selling Road, Air or Sea Freight at a senior level
- A strong commercial mindset with a track record of exceeding targets
- The ability to build and maintain long-term strategic relationships
- A proactive, self-starting attitude with strong leadership capability
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, face-to-face and via telephone
- A passion for delivering high-quality customer solutions
