Accountant Belfast – £28,000 – £35,000
We are working with a well-established accountancy practice seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a varied client portfolio, support junior team members, and play a key role in delivering high-quality financial services to a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors, acting as a primary point of contact
*Prepare and review statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
*Oversee the preparation of management accounts and financial reports
*Review VAT returns and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
*Support clients with tax compliance, including corporation tax and personal tax
*Provide advisory support to clients
*Mentor and support junior team members, reviewing their work and assisting with development
*Ensure deadlines are met, and work is delivered to a high standard
Key Requirements
*Fully qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience
*2 3 years ofexperience within an accountancy practice environment is essential
*Strong technical knowledge of UK/ROI accounting standards and tax regulations
*Experience managing client relationships and handling a varied workload
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Experience with accounting software
