Fund Accounting Oversight Manager

Meraki are partnering with a leading Investment Manager based in the City of London on their search for a Fund Accounting Oeersight Manager to lead a team of professionals responsible for the firm’s Public Markets Investments

The role will report directly into the Head of Fund Finance, with significant exposure to key decision makers across the Finance & Investment group – the role would suit someone with proven people leadership skills, that is looking to take on a more high profile role within a firm

Key Responsibilities

• Management of a team of 5, responsible for their development and performance within their respective roles – managing escalations and providing support and training where needed
• Work closely with the Head of Fund Finance to provide updates and insight around the Public Markets team and business
• Support Front Office with product launches – the firm has plans to grow within the EFT & CLO space in the coming months
• Own the Fund Accounting Oversight Framework, including monthly reporting and oversight of Third Party Administrators
• Build effective partnerships with internal stakeholders, external clients and outsourced providers to meet business needs.

Key Requirements

• People leadership experience – management of appraisals, development & recruitment would be preferred – current team stands at 5 heads
• Exposure to a broad range of Public Market Fund Structures – OEICs / SICAV / EFT / CLO as examples
• Comfortable building relationships with colleagues outside of Fund Oversight, desire to be a true business partner to the Investment Group
• Professional Qualifications welcome (ACCA/ACA etc) but not a pre requisite

This is a great position for an individual with strong product knowledge that is looking to develop, also a great move for a professional within Third Party Administration that wishes to move Client Side
