As part of our continued growth, we are looking to appoint multiple Senior Recruitment Consultants to join our National Recruitment Team – specifically in our Central and Southern regions. These are exciting senior roles for experienced, driven and credible recruiters who understand the importance of quality, relationships, compliance and pace in a specialist people-focused sector.
The Role:
As a Senior Recruitment Consultant at Tinies, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality recruitment solutions across both flexible and permanent placements. You will work across a broad mix of childcare recruitment requirements, including domestic and corporate nannies, nursery staff and early years professionals. This is a varied and fast-paced role that requires strong relationship management skills, sound judgement and a clear understanding of the standards expected in a safeguarding-led environment. Working as part of our National Recruitment Team, you will build and maintain strong candidate and client relationships, manage recruitment processes from brief to placement, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the business.
This is a hybrid role, combining remote working with two or three days in an office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage recruitment activity across both flexible and permanent childcare placements
- Recruit for a wide range of roles, including domestic and corporate nannies, nursery staff and early years professionals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, clients and colleagues
- Drive business development activity – take detailed briefs and match high-quality candidates to suitable opportunities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening through to placement and aftercare
- Deliver an excellent candidate and client experience throughout the recruitment journey
- Maintain a strong awareness of safeguarding, safer recruitment and compliance requirements relevant to the early years and childcare sector
- Ensure all activity is carried out in line with company processes, quality standards and regulatory expectations
- Contribute positively to team culture, regional success and overall business growth
- Help to manage, mentor and develop our growing teams of Recruitment Consultants
About You:
We are looking for confident and commercially aware recruiters with proven recruitment agency experience and strong people skills. You must have experience working in recruitment agency environments, alongside either first-hand relevant industry experience within childcare or a related sector, such as education, or demonstrable experience recruiting into those markets. You will also need a good awareness of early years safeguarding and compliance, together with the ability to work at pace while maintaining quality and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be relationship-led, organised and proactive, with the credibility to work across a broad range of clients and candidates in a specialist market.
Skills and Experience
- Essential: previous recruitment agency experience!
- First-hand relevant industry experience within childcare or a related sector such as education, or strong experience recruiting into those sectors
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and candidate management
- Awareness of early years safeguarding and compliance requirements
- Ability to manage both flexible and permanent placements
- Confidence working across domestic and corporate nanny recruitment, as well as nursery and early years roles
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A professional, organised and solutions-focused approach
- Ability to work independently while contributing strongly as part of a wider team
- Commercial awareness and a positive, driven attitude
What We Offer
- Basic salary of £30,000 to £42,000, depending on previous experience
