Overview

An established UK engineering organisation is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support current and upcoming programmes within a secure environment. This role sits within a highly technical systems engineering function and offers the opportunity to work on complex, mission-critical projects. There is potential for the role to transition into a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

• Support systems engineering activities across the full lifecycle.
• Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles to complex systems.
• Contribute to enterprise architecture and system-level design decisions.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure system requirements are clearly defined and met.
• Provide “big picture” systems view across integrated platforms.
• Support current workload and future programme demands.
• Proven experience as a Systems Engineer in a regulated or defence environment
• Strong working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Experience with Enterprise Architecture approaches (preferred)
• Good understanding of MILSATCOM infrastructure and architecture
• Ability to work effectively within secure, classified programmes.
• Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or a related discipline
